We are a not for profit poker society with our own dedicated premises. The emphais is on enjoying social evenings and a game of poker. New players are welcome.

This is not online poker, this is live poker, a completely different experience. This is not poker in the pub, we have a gaming license and this is run strictly in accordance with the gaming act. Yes we are legal !!!!!!

We are located at Asheton farm, Tysea Hill, Stapleford. RM4 1JU. The building is immediately on your left as you enter and there is ample parking.

All games are no limit texas holdem tournaments at present but we are looking for omaha and stud and draw players also with a view to starting games for those with a more spophisticated palate and a cerebral nature rather than just "smash and grab"  NL Holdem. 

There are also a number of players looking for contract bridge games, canasta, euchre, and cribbage.

Tournaments start at 8.00pm sharp and we allow late landings to join in up to 8.30pm see the "sorties" for our next engagement. Arrivals after this time will not be permitted. We try to wind things up by 12.30 am

Above all the emphasis is on enjoyment and entertainment. A finger buffet is provided for all during the evening and we have drinks available, tea coffee and whatever is in the fridge !

We have all equipment and the best tournament management software available ( many thanks to onix solutions for producing this).

If you are tired of sitting infront of the computer playing online poker then this is for you. Tired of those online poker loonies and the bad beats? Then come and meet some live poker lunatics and then the bad beats are much worse and more personal.

A sense of humour and good sportsmanship are essential. Table talk is mandatory for the banter is as enjoyable as the game itself ! However, the game is serious and we have some excellent players who will gladly advise upon and discuss hands as well as out and out gamblers and novices.

 The mix all adds to the fun !!
